RETURN 2004 Grant Recipients - BSG
Visit any marina or waterfront community and you’ll find volunteers working hard to keep our waterways safe for boaters. To help these volunteers continue their good work, the BoatU.S. Foundation for Boating Safety & Clean Water has awarded over $45,000 in grants to nonprofit groups which spread the message about safe boating practices.

The Foundation received over 114 applications for its 2004 Boating Safety Grant cycle. Of these, 25 groups from Alabama to Washington were selected to receive grants. With this year’s grant focus on the dangers of CO poisoning, 12 of the 25 groups included this theme in their grant programs.
